Description

Students of all Spanish language levels who wish to complete coursework both at the CEA Global Campus and at Pablo de Olavide University (UPO) are invited to participate in this fully immersive study abroad program, that combines language courses with a wide range of electives. Through their classes at UPO, students will have the chance to interact with peers from Spain, Europe and the U.S. Electives taught in Spanish or English are available at both institutions and in a wide array of subject areas.

Highlights

With a population less than 1 million, Seville offers you a small-town feel compared to Madrid and Barcelona. Located in Southern Spain, Seville is considered the guardian of all that is traditional Andalusian culture. Seville has a very centralized historic district, the largest in Europe, which is very pedestrian friendly. Renowned as the birthplace of flamenco dance, Seville also is home to stunning architecture, including the world's largest Gothic cathedral, La Giralda, and the Alcazar - a 14th Century palace. Engage in true Seville culture through a myriad of traditional Spanish entertainment, including bullfighting, flamenco dance and festivals, such as Semana Santa and Feria de Abril. Lining the streets are terrace cafés where people meet to enjoy their afternoon café con leche. Relax at a local tapas bar to enjoy good food and conversation after a day of strolling through the shaded, winding alleyways of the Barrio Santa Cruz, the old Jewish quarter.
