Since 1985, CCUSA has provided cultural and work exchange programs in countries around the world. Work Adventures Down Under provides unique and once in a lifetime opportunities for American Citizens between the age of 18 and 30, to travel and work in New Zealand for up to 12 months. We can set you up with a job, help you get to New Zealand, and help get you on your feet just as soon as you arrive.
This program is open year round with ongoing departures. You must sign up at least 8 weeks prior to your intended departure date, and can apply online.

  • Highlights

We have two different packages which include:

Basic Down Under - This is an excellent option for those who need help in getting their visa and resources on how to get started once you arrive. We assist you with your visa, provide you with travel insurance, as well as resources for airline flights and to help you with your job search. This is a great option for those who already have a plan of what kind of work you want to do in New Zealand, or have friends there ready to help you get on your feet.

Ultimate Down Under - This option offers everything the Basic Package does - but goes a bit further to assist you in hitting the ground running as soon as you arrive in Auckland. In addition to the services above, we also offer airport pickup, three nights lodging at a hostel in central Auckland, comprehensive arrival orientation, as well as the opportunity to work with our partner and a Job Placement Agency to help you find a job, and much, much more. You can go on your own or travel with a friend.
