The Camp Counselor Russia Program (CRUSSIA) offers people the opportunity to spend their summer volunteering in a Russian youth camp. During the 4 or 8 week sessions, American Counselors learn about Russian life and culture. In return, American Counselors educate Russian children and staff about American culture, while also teaching English. This is an amazing, life changing program. No Russian necessary.
It is a wonderful experience that allows Americans to visit Russia, improve their language ability and teaching skills while sharing of themselves and making a positive impact on the lives of Russian children. Program includes round trip flight from NY to Moscow, orientation in New York at Columbia University, pre-camp & post-camp orientation in Moscow, room and board during the four or eight week program and insurance.
