Cavendish Staffing has an exciting opportunity for a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (female) for a large hospital in Abu Dhabi. The hospital is a specialist obstetrics and gynaecology facility providing care to those within Abu Dhabi. The hospital is managed in accordance with modern, patient-centred approaches and international best practices. Our client requires candidates who will reflect their professional and caring objectives to join their team.

Job Summary:
* Provide patient focused obstetrics and gynaecology services and ensure optimal clinical care of patients in the department.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team with a personalized and caring attitude.
* Provide leadership, supervision and support to the senior registrars, registrars and resident medical officers.
* Develop and participate in a postgraduate training program for the junior medical staff.

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Training Required:
* UK/ American trained.
* Completion of a recognised higher professional education programme in Obstetrics & Gynaecology- CCT/ CCST from the UK or American board certified.
* Current Certification in BLS.
* At least 3 years experience after CCT registration/ equivalent at Consultant level.
* Experience in a Western hospital setting is desirable.
* Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education.
* Appropriate experience and competence in all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology.
* Leadership skills appropriate for a highly functioning clinical team.
* Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, doctors and all other hospital staff.
* Ability to project a positive public image of self, department and hospital.
* Desirable- Publication in peer reviewed journals.
