  • Description

Casa San Juan Bed and Breakfast is a truly unique bed & breakfast that provides the best value in the very heart of the colonial city of Merida, Yucatan, the sector of San Juan.

Built at the end of 1800 and declared a historic site in 1982, the colonial architecture of this lovely building has been restored to preserve its former glory.

Casa San Juan B&B has a lush arcaded courtyard with tropical plants and a fountain as its centerpiece, a formal dining room, high beamed ceilings that rise to a majestic 20 feet, spacious leafy areas for relaxing and very spacious comfortable bedrooms.

The location could not be better situated. Casa San Juan B & B is located a mere four blocks from the main bus terminal and 3 blocks south from the lovely old main plaza of Merida.

  • Location

We are centrally located on Calle 62, one of Merida's two main streets just three blocks south of the Main Square.

If you are taking a taxi from the airport, give the driver the following address: calle 62 # 545A entre 69 y 71. The main entrance to Casa San Juan Bed and Breakfast is usually closed, so you will have to press the electric ring on the right side of the door. Rate for a transfer from the airport is approximately 12 USD. A word of caution: Some taxi drivers may try to divert you to other hotels that pay them a commission per guest.

If you are coming by bus, just walk four blocks on calle 69 to calle 62 and walk to the right towards calle 71, you will see the salmon and gray house on the right hand side of the street.
