In the heart of Karon Beach's busiest area, there is a small quiet lane, Soi Bangla, where Casa Brazil is located. Casa Brazil is an intimate, stylish bed and breakfast which offers decent rooms, good food, and friendly local hospitality within an artistic atmosphere.

The Andaman Sea, Karon, Kata and Kata Noi beaches are within walking distance, and tourist and souvenir shops are just around the corner from Casa Brazil. The Kata-Karon area has a reputation for long while sand beaches that are calm and peaceful in summer, and wild and mysterious during the monsoon season.

Location

By plane:
Two types of transport are available at the Phuket airport: minibus and taxi. Tickets are available at the counter inside the airport. Just tell them your destination is Casa Brazil in Karon Beach. The minibus, which cost 180 Thai Baht (around USD 5), takes longer and a bit of patience to wait for other guests. The taxi trip costs 650 Thai Baht (USD 20) can accommodate 3-4 persons and takes you right to Casa Brazil.

By bus:
Make sure you get off the bus at the bus terminal and not elsewhere. From the terminal you can take a tuk-tuk directly to Karon Beach (about 250 Thai Baht) or go to the downtown market (15 Baht) where local buses are waiting. The trip on a local bus costs 20 Baht per person and leaves every half hour from 7 a.m. till 6 p.m. Tell the driver to drop you off at Soi Bangla in Karon.
