Casa Arturo & Esmeralda is a fairly new house situated in the historic center of the city Bayamo. It’s about 200 meters away from the Plaza del Himno, the Parque Cespedes and El paseo Bayamez, the local proud of the city. Casa Arturo & Esmeralda has 2 double rooms for rent. All the rooms are equiped with airconditioning, TV, minibar, audio/cd-player, private bathroom with hot water. Also additional breakfast, dinner and cocktails can be served all within a friendly and respectfull ambiance.

Bayamo is known as one of the most safe cities of Cuba because of its very low crimerates, besides the people of Bayamo are very friendly, happy and optimistic. Every saturdaynight they celebrate the Fiesta de la Cubania. An event in which serveral trades are combined with gastronomy and cutural events which allows visitors and locals interact in a harmonic way. The carts with the horses are a typical local tradition in Bayamo, one night on the cart through the city will be an unforgetable experience!!

Location

Getting to Bayamo is quite easy. Around Bayamo you have several (international) airports, at 80km Holguín, at 120km Santiago de Cuba and a national airport in Manzanillo at 74km. Bayamo also has a national airport which has 4 flights a week to Havana. There also airport taxis available to other parts of the country.

By train Bayamo is conected to Havana and all the way to the capital it stops in cities like, Camagüey, Ciego de Ávila, Santa Spiritus, Villa Calara y Matanzas.

With the omnibus Via Azul there are more connections possible than by train and you will be able to go to any province and to cities like Trinidad and Varadero.
