CAPA Istanbul Program
Description
Straddling Europe and Asia, Istanbul is unlike any other city in the world. CAPA offers students fall and spring semester programs and a six-week summer program, housed at Bilig University. Open to all majors, the program offers a range of courses taught in English including "Europe and Migration," "Urban Politics," and "Theories of Democracy and Human Rights." Course credit is offered by Northeastern University, CAPA's School of Record in Istanbul.
CAPA's Global Cities program provides multiple pathways for you to analyze and explore Istanbul. CAPA's MyEducation Program, a series of cultural events centered around key themes, enables you to tailor your involvement in the city around your chosen interests and learning-style preferences. The program presents opportunities for you to engage with the city on an individual basis, to create a well-rounded and in-depth understanding of it cultural heritage, contemporary realities, and current affairs.
Students studying in Istanbul will live in university residence accommodation within commuting distance of Bilgi University. Designed to be inclusive, the program fee also includes a transportation pass, social events, and insurance.
