  • Description

The CAPA Buenos Aires Program offers students an opportunity to engage with Latin American culture and either start or continue to study Spanish. This program offers Beginner to Advanced Spanish as well as a range of courses taught in English. Housed at Universidad Austral, a private university in central Buenos Aires, CAPA students take courses with Argentine and other international students.

CAPA's Global Cities program provides multiple pathways for you to analyze and explore Buenos Aires. CAPA's My Education Program, a series of cultural events centered around key themes, enables you to tailor your involvement in the city around your chosen interests and learning-style preferences. The program presents opportunities for you to engage with the city on an individual basis, to create a well-rounded and in-depth understanding of it cultural heritage, contemporary realities, and current affairs.

Students stay in single homestays during the program, and breakfast and dinner are included daily. This living environment allows you to practice your Spanish outside the classroom and to learn more about the local culture.

  • CAPA International Education's Mission Statement

Our mission has remained unchanged since 1972: to provide learning abroad opportunities which genuinely educate students and visiting faculty about the people and culture in which they are learning in a holistic educational environment. Our programs weave experiential and academic learning together with internships, co-curricular activities and methods of instruction; these create a total learning environment, ensuring every student gains the deeper contextual relevance before, during and after their study abroad experience. We believe that a student's intercultural awareness and self-confidence, as well as a genuine interest in their own education can be uniquely shaped while learning abroad. Over 50,000 students are alumni of the CAPA Organization. It is our belief that the experiences and lessons gained by your students on our programs will continue to bring new levels of curiosity and tolerance to the future generations of people they engage with. Live. Create. Learn. Explore. Discover.
