Description

As a volunteer on the SDX programme, you will travel to Tanzania as part of a team and spend a month working with local schools coaching football, netball, athletics and hockey and improving school and community sports facilities. The expedition culminates in an amazing interschool sports festival, which your team will organise and run. The SDX programme will also give you the chance to support children by:

* Instilling values such as discipline, teamwork, respect and fair play
* Fostering skills such as leadership, problem solving and organisation
* Bridging cultural and ethnic divides and address gender equality
* Improving health and fitness
* Identifying and harnessing talent and creating ambition

Qualifications

Any kind of sport qualification is helpful especially coaching. However you do not need to have any for this trip just a passion for your chosen sport which you are willing to pass on to the local communities and schools.
