Wildlife Conservation Project in Botswana
The Canadian Alliance for Development Initiatives and Projects is inviting volunteers to join conservation efforts in the Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana. The program gives participants the opportunity to see a wide range of wild animals, including rhinos, leopards, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, warthogs, and many more. Participants can also get a glimpse of small animals and birds, as well as reptiles, including snakes and crocodiles. The reserve is located 10 kilometers south of the capital Gaborone. Duties and responsibilities of volunteers include assisting in general work in the park, maintaining paths and trails, checking pipelines that provide water to animals and the camp sites, and helping in the day-to-day management of the park.
