The aim of this international volunteer project is orientated to renovating and reconstructing some areas of an elementary school that need to be improved. Volunteers could contribute to enhance the building through different tasks such as:
- setting a roof on the playground
- restoring the school library
- restoring the playground
- restoring some green areas
The volunteers will help with all these activities in order to renovate and maintain the school. All the tasks will be supported by the children's parents and the local families.
The participants could also contribute to the children's education program through giving some dance lessons.
Piura is a city in northwestern Peru. It is the capital of the Piura Region and the Piura Province. It was here that Spanish Conqueror Francisco Pizarro founded the first Spanish city in South America, San Miguel de Piura, in 1532.
