  • Description

    The "Foyer Soleil" is a social centre that receives physically handicapped people. It belongs to a national federation (Association des Paralyses de France). Volunteers will take part in the organization of leisure activities for the residents of the social centre. Work schedules will vary, depending on the needs. The volunteers will work under the guidance of a team of professionals of the center. Strong motivation and high availability are required. Please, note that only 3 international participants are recruited for this project.

    Next to the town of Caen, the city of Guillaume le Conquerant, Fleury sur Orne has a privileged geographical location in Normandy: close to Bayeux, the beaches where troops landed during the last world war... many places to visit, lively during the summer season.

  • Qualifications

    Motivation letter in French is needed with application. Knowledge of French preferable. However, volunteers who do not speak French, but have a good contact and a strong sense of communication, can participate.
