  • Description

    Can is a town with 30,000 inhabitants and is famous for its ceramic factory. The English language teachers of the 2 different high schools in the town are willing their pupils of 14-17 age group to practice English by close contacts with foreigners.

    The project participants will be practising English with the teenagers. Each volunteer will deal with a group of 15 pupils in turn, each day & session.

    Can is in the northwest of Turkey and not very far from Troy. Nearest city is Canakkale.

    Volunteers don't need to be native speakers but must have a good level of English and must be keen on speaking and teaching.
