  • Description

    The aim of Mt. Cheongtae Natural Recreational forest conservancy project is sharing the meaning of how important the forest is for human. On Mt. Cheongtae, natural forests and artificial forests are blended nicely, creating a model national forest complex, so volunteers could feel like visiting a nature museum. The beautiful scenery of Korean valley on the mountain is so unforgettable that once you visit this place, you come back.

    The host is the Korean Forest Service belonging to the government. The volunteers will mainly participate in activities to conserve the forest. They will learn about nature and forests, and will also have a chance to join other activities such as making souvenirs for tourists.

    The project takes place in Hoengseong, Gangwon Province, 100 km east from Seoul.
