Kyalalankuba Community School is a community owned school that was constructed through the help of international volunteer groups. Before 2007 this community had no school and the children had to walk long distances and literally stopped school during the rainy season. Volunteers have been working with this community since 2007 and there is now a school in the area.
The volunteers will construct a third classroom block for the school. This includes putting up a floor and raising the walls. The group will also be involved in maintaining foot paths and trails at the national monument.
Kyalalankuba is located in the North Western Province of Zambia, 700 km from the capital city Lusaka, 173 km from the Copper belt Province and 4 km away from Solwezi town centre.
