Description

If you are one of those people who have a taste for doing lots of different things, this is the course we recommend you! A little sailing and some canoeing classes. All of these activities are related to the sea. As you may know, Denia has always had strong links with the Mediterranean sea life. All necessary equipments will be provided.

This course is specially geared to students between 6 and 16 years, and has a real international flavour, with young people from many different countries coming together to study the local language, take part in activities and above all have fun! Language classes take place in the morning and then the real fun begins.

Parents can be assured that all programmes are fully-supervised and coordinated by a professional team of teachers and monitors. And students can be assured that, as well as making lots of new friends, they will come back with a variety of language, sporting and social skills valuable for the rest of their lives.

Highlights

This special Spanish & Sailing programme offers the following:

Two 45 minutes Spanish lessons per day + 3 Nautical Activities

Campus:

It is contained within two renovated buildings offering 6 comfortable and equipped classrooms, TV and video facilities, air conditioning and coffee machines. Students also enjoy free access to a Multimedia centre with 15 computers, Internet and interactive language programmes, plus a library offering additional didactic materials.

Language lessons:

Classes are kept to a maximum of 8 students, which is ideal, and all teachers are specialists in teaching Spanish as a foreign language, with many years of experience.

Sailing lessons:

* All the sailing lessons are given at the Official sailing school in Club Nautico Denia, where your children will also be able to meet other Spanish children taking sailing!
* All equipments are included in the price.
* Children will learn all the basics of sailing: rigging, launching, maneuvering, handling, coming to shore, boat care and storage as well as rules of safety.
