Bucerius Law School offers the Bucerius Summer Program in International Business Law, an intensive four-week English taught course for international and German students. The intent of this program is to impart knowledge and understanding of the forces shaping international business law in order to meet the increasing requirements of companies and law firms in this field. The program provides for a professional and personal international background and is the ideal place for the exchange of legal and cultural perspectives from different countries. The program is open to qualified law students and graduates from all over the world.
The Bucerius Summer Program offers courses taught by distinguished Bucerius professors and guest professors. In 2012, the following courses will be offered:
* Capital Market Securities / Regulations
* Comparative Contract Law
* Corporate Governance in Publicly Traded Corporations
* International Banking Transactions
* International Commercial Arbitration
* International Commercial Sales
* International Mergers & Acquisitions
Students have to pass a final examination in each course in order to receive grades and credits. The course-credit system is based on the guidelines of the ABA, with one credit hour being equal to 700 minutes of classroom time. Each course is worth one ABA credit or two ECTS points. Students may select as many courses as they want, with 3 ABA / 6 ECTS credits being the minimum requirement.
In addition to a challenging academic program, students are invited to take part in a series of extracurricular activities in and around Hamburg.

This fee includes tuition and extracurricular activities. The cost of accommodation, books, travel, etc. are not included. There is no application fee.
