The Core Program develops foundational skills, knowledge, and disciplinary perspectives across a four-year education. Every major at Bryn Athyn builds upon the Core Program, and every course in our curriculum addresses Core goals directly or indirectly.
Our Core Program will serve you by:
* Helping you develop spiritual purpose through religious instruction and outlook.
* Teaching you to think broadly and critically from a number of perspectives.
* Empowering you with specific skills so that you may act effectively in society and the workplaces of the 21st century.
Ethics and technology are also crucial components of our Core Program. They are addressed in specific ways by each major, with appropriate applications for particular disciplines.
As a Bryn Athyn student, you can choose from majors in Biology, Education, English, History, and Religion, or expand the possibilities with an Interdisciplinary Major (ID). Both within specific major programs and through the flexibility of the ID major, our curriculum is designed to help you create an educational program tailored to your interests and talents.
