Understanding Business, Politics and Culture in Brazil.

The program BPU Brazil, promoted by BPU Global Education, offers, over the period of two-three weeks , classes, professional visits and cultural tours in an itinerary that includes Rio de Janeiro, Salvador (Bahia) and the coastal region in between. With course subjects covering Portuguese language, Brazilian culture, global economics and international politics, the classes are taught in English by a faculty of experienced university professors, and will be complimented, in practice, with professional visits to important companies and institutions. Classes will be taught on campus at a local Brazilian university in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Backpacker U Study Abroad is offering a course giving a broad overview of Brazilian economy, society, business, politics and economic development, with a focus on opportunities presented by the upcoming Olympics and World Cup (both which will be hosted by Brazil in the near future).

This is an intensive short-term study abroad program with 17 days of courses at a top university in Rio de Janeiro, followed by 11 days traveling up the coast of Brazil to Salvador (Bahia) with professors and Portuguese language teachers (see itinerary).
