  • Description

    This program has permanent duration and consists of a host system combined with the arts of building together, as well as producing and preparing raw & living food in harmony with nature. Those interested only need to report a desire to participate in the activities of Reserve Bom Retiro Farm. Each trainee must bring their own linens and towels.

    Upon arrival, you are presented the proposed work of the Finance and sign a declaration of voluntary commitment. The schedule of activities is subject to choice / suitability of the candidate's experience. The itinerary of activities contains a maximum of 6 hours of daily.

    Roadmap daily activities:
    8:00 to 11:00 activities
    11:00 to 14:00 preparation collective lunch meal and rest
    (living food seeds, sprouts and raw vegetables)
    14:00 to 17:00 activities

    The schedule of activities is subject to choice / suitability of the candidate's experience.

    Learning:
    - germination and sprouting of seeds;
    - Introduction to participatory Cooking Live (without using the stove or refrigerator);
    - dehydration, fermentation and composting of food;
    - seed selection, planting and cultivation of seedlings, organic gardens and edible gardens;
    management of the garden, edible gardens, agroforestry systems
    - Identification of wild leaves and edible flowers;
    - developing skills for the identification and preparation of pigment inks with the earth.
    - different techniques of painting and building with earth.

  • Highlights

    The Bom Retiro Farm Nature Reserve is a conservation area, the first Private Reserve of Natural Patrimony of the State of Rio de Janeiro, where realize activities with scientific research, ecotourism and environmental education.

    We are pioneers in carrying out work involving forest conservation on private land with a permaculture and health promotion. Our daily actions are connected with the thought of Bioconstruction, Agroforestry and Raw & Living Food Experience related to environmental education.
