If you have an eye for fashion and styling and love being surrounded by unique clothes, new colors and designs, our Volunteer Fashion Design placement will focus on the skills, qualities and experience you have, and teach you more as you learn 'on the job,' working alongside designers, retailers, and import / export specialists in the cosmopolitan city of Cochabamba, Bolivia.

A background in fashion design, marketing, business or merchandising and skills in sewing, draping, and cutting is a major advantage - but not essential.

We will match your capabilities with a tasks that need to be done.

This non-paid voluntary position is a great opportunity to gain a totally unique experience in the fashion field, and is open to applicants of all levels of experience.

Volunteering should be about giving direct, meaningful and lasting help where help is needed most. We see no need to charge excessive fees to provide all the services and facilities necessary to ensure a volunteer's time with us is comfortable, enjoyable, productive and rewarding. Our volunteers work in a variety of placements including sports coaching, orphanage support, street children, tourism, journalism and teaching assistant projects. Accommodation is provided through Family Homes so that volunteers are able to play an active part in a traditional family life and the local community. Through our programmes, volunteers experience the customs, traditions and cultures, architecture, cuisine and leisure facilities of their chosen city, whilst helping those who need it most.
