The world is at an inflection point; we need to combine the traditional experience and knowledge of sustainable living with the power of modern technology to create a more sustainable world with opportunity for all. To succeed, we must expand the edge of the market to include all in the global network, create a two way dialogue to share sustainable practices, and build a global movement of leaders working for a more equitable, sustainable world.
blueEnergy creates impact in two ways: 1) catalyzing a network of partners to increase the delivery of key services to expand the edge of the market; 2) build a pipeline of leaders working for a more equitable, sustainable world.
blueEnergy's headquarters are located in Bluefields, the capital of Nicaragua's Región Autónoma del Atlántico Sur (or "RAAS"), where only 25% of the population has access to energy. The organization currently has approximately 40 employees and international volunteers working on various development, energy, and water projects. Local employees and international volunteers work together to accomplish the organization's stated goals. Current projects can be viewed on our website at www.blueEnergyGroup.org and in our monthly newsletter, the blueNews. Languages spoken at blueEnergy are Spanish (predominant), English, and French.
