Its architecture reflects its imperial past, with city walls built by the Roman Emperor Theodosius, former Christian churches adorned with Byzantine mosaics, and the enormous mosques and elaborate palaces of the Ottoman sultans. Turkish culture has a highly developed ethos of hospitality, and students will encounter a welcoming and helpful environment.
Students enroll in one of Turkey's leading institutions, taking regular university courses, living on campus with Turkish and other international students in modern, luxurious dorms, and participating in university activities.
