    Ifrane is a university town in the Middle Atlas region of Morocco, one hour south of Fez. It is ideally situated for travel throughout Morocco, including Casablanca and Marrakesh. Arabic language is taught at beginning through advanced levels; French language courses are also available. All other regular university courses are taught in English in Art history, business, computer science, geography, humanities, literature, political science, and women's studies. Students live in residence halls with Moroccan students.

    Eligibility Requirements: Sophomores and above: 2.5 GPA. Also open to graduate students. The summer program is open only to students that are matriculated with a SUNY college or university.

It seeks to blend the Arab, Moroccan, and Mediterranean humanistic tradition with the latest scientific and technical developments in research and teaching. The University is modeled on the United States University system. Many of the faculty and administration have been trained in the USA.
