Volunteering with the BetterPlace Volunteers, gives volunteers the opportunity to select which program they feel comfortable with because we give priority to your interests. We have projects like teaching in a range of schools from kindergarten to secondary schools, Helping out at Health centres, Orphanages, The Elderly and disabled, Church missions and this is mainly for the evangelic volunteers, sports and music, Fundraising and administrative work and so much more.

The main aim of these projects is to help local communities improve their standards of living and give a smile to everyone!

Qualifications

At Betterplace Volunteers, everyone is welcome even if you don't have any qualification, we have an orientation program where we train every volunteer on what to to. And on the other hand all volunteers work hand in hand with the locals.

However if you have any skills from Teaching, medical, coaching you're most welcome.

Typical Volunteer

A volunteer at Betterplace Volunteers cant even recognise its a volunteership, this is like a home away from hope. You wake up in the morning, driven to the site work for between 5 - 8 hours and then driven back home. You decide on which days you wanna work in a given week and we do the schedule to balance work and leisure. A volunteer has an opportunity to travel around the country visit tourist resorts on the dates he desires all arranged by the betterplace volunteers staff.
