Description

The trend towards active language learning within a context is a concept that is not new. Study Spanish within the context of a Hiking the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela (100 kms. of it). Make friends in Spanish and use it to do something fun. If you only have three weeks and want more than just grammar and vocabulary and contrived conversation classes, the program was designed to give you engaging and exciting content through activities for educational entertainment.

After attending a crash Spanish course in our up-market Madrid-based Spanish language school you leave for a 5 or 6 day walking excursion that will cover the last 100 kms. of the century famous Camino de Santiago de Compostela (St. James' Way). A minibus will transport your equipment, meeting up with the group every 5 kms. which allows participants who feel tired or simply want a change to use it.

Open to participants from 16 years of age. No experience required but basic Spanish an asset. We offer 8 levels of language classes from complete beginners to composition classes for advanced speakers. Most of our staff is bilingual.
