BEST will arrange for you to obtain a volunteer post in one of Russia's many non-profit organizations. If you would like to fuse your need to make a contribution to society with a training internship in a hand-on or administrative post this is the program you were looking for. You will perfect your Russian skills while you begin to build your career - and make a difference socially!
First we will prep you in a 2 week intensive Russian course. You will acquire a strong basis and become accustomed to the city. These classes commence the first Monday of every month in our centrally located, full-equipped language school in downtown St. Petersburg. Your schedule will give you time to participate in the optional organized cultural, sport and social activities with students from all over the world.
Then, you will begin your part-time volunteer internship in one of the divisions of a humanitarian organization. Besides field work there are possibilities such as: press department, logistics, projects, legal, fund raising, volunteer recruitment, psychology, documentation, etc. Placements are available in ecology, enviornmental issues, children's issues, etc.

4) Orientation meeting with local coordinator: includes tourist and city information and transportation and communication details - including a map and explanation of the transportation, currency, communication details (cell phones and email), phone number for inquiries locally and safety tips.
5) Transfer
Airport transfer upon arrival. We include a service for airport pickup which provides a person to be waiting for you at the exit of the arrival lounge at the airport. They will take you to your accommodation and avoid the hassles of public transportation and making you way in a new city after a long flight.
6) Internship
According to your areas of choice. We request that you give us three possible areas and guarantee you an internship in one of them.
