Typical Volunteer

We have found that there is no really typical volunteer, ages ranging from college students to retirees. Perhaps the one underlining motivation for all our participants is to improve their skills in a "natural" environment. Many look to gain experience or start a new adventure, or finish graduation requirements. There are also mid-career professional who would like to take a gap-year to devote their skills to humanity and those who look to transition their career into international development. Our retiree's profiles commonly belong to people with time, means and eager to help people by giving something back to life and continuing to learn at the same time. They are participants believing that it is never too late to help or learn.
