Description

BEST launches EFL internships in neighborhood language school in suburb of Madrid for male and female candidates interested in language teaching, Eng., children's development or similar areas. The program is open for 2 to 3 month committments and offers a stipend as well as lodging with a Spanish family in exchange for speaking English with them. Graduates and young professionals can gain international experience through this internship placements in Madrid area. Internships focus on preparing students for working in an international environment in elementary education or in the field of their area of study such as General Education, EFL teaching, childcare, childhood development, curriculum and materials development, etc.

Complementing the work experience, all interns participate in an intensive Spanish language course upon their arrival aimed at helping them with their adaptation in Spain and on developing an excellent competitive edge in the job market for those who aspire to working in an international environment in general. Interns are assigned a Tutor at the academy who acts as a coach and mentor. Tutors provide pedagogical support and guide the intern through their tasks.

Certification: Upon completion of the internship, the intern receives a certificate that documents the number of hours they have interned on a Certificate of International Project Participation.

Based on your qualifications and a personal interview you will be guaranteed an internship in one of our local EFL language academies in Madrid. Salary/Pay

A stipend of up to 1100 euros monthly is given based on the rate of 13 Euros/hour gross with a minimum of 500 euros/month. Au Pair stipend of 50 euros for every 25 hours dedicated to childcare, in the case that this is required. Otherwise, free room and board with a Spanish family in exchange of speaking in English only.
