  • Description

BEST launches fall and spring EFL Business Experience Program through semester and academic year paid work experience placements in Madrid, Spain. Graduates and young professionals can gain international business experience through semester and academic year EFL and ESL internship placements in Madrid. Internships focus on preparing students for working in an international environment either in the language training field (ESL and EFL).

Complementing the work experience, all interns participate in a training program focused on developing an excellent competitive edge in the job market for those who aspire to working in an international environment in EFL.

ESL and EFL Interns receive group training or shadowing sessions on education for adult learners. The program covers areas such as level testing, methodology, progress assessment, material development, distance learning, and new technologies applied to language education.

Interns are assigned a Senior Tutor who acts as a coach and mentor. Senior Tutors provide pedagogical support and guide the intern through their tasks.

Certification: Upon completion of the internship, the intern receives a certificate that documents:
    * Number of training hours received in ESL training specialized in adult education.
    * An internationally recognize TEFL Certification is optional for those who can come a month early.

For those who come from English as a Second Language backgrounds, we not only provide specialized training in adult ESL education, we also certify up to 600 hours of evaluated classroom experience. This exceeds most classroom observation requirements by 4 year universities and it also exceeds the requirements established by the TEFL certificate emitted by the British Council.
