Term

Dates
Starts Mondays for 2 to 6 months

  • Description

Come with a Friend and Save 300 USD by mentioning this notice on your application.

BEST will arrange for you to obtain work experience in your professional field in one of the European Union's many non-profit organizations based in Brussels. If you would like to fuse your need to make a contribution to society with a training internship in the administration of a Brussels-based NGO this is the program you were looking for. You will perfect your French skills while you begin to build your career - and make a difference socially!

If your level of French is under intermediate we will direct you to a first-class intensive French course where you will acquire a strong basis and become accustomed to Brussels. These classes commence the first Monday of every month in the Alliance Française which is centrally located and fully-equipped catering to the international and European community. We will negotiate your intern schedule in the NGO in order to give you time to participate in the classes as well as optional social activities with students from all over the world.

You will decide if you want to begin the internship upon completion of the language course or in the afternoons while you are still attending. The classes finish at noon daily. Nothing can replace the benefits and fun of first-hand experience!

Your part-time volunteer internship in one of the divisions of a humanitarian organization such as: press department, logistics, projects, legal, fund raising, volunteer recruitment, psychology, documentation, etc. Placements are available in every type of NGO, from politics to children's issues.

  • Highlights

Brussels is a nice city to live in, it has the international atmosphere and there is always something going on in town to satisfy all tastes. It is safe, in the center of Western Europe and the heart of the European Union. Rent and living costs are not extravagant. The transport system is cheap and efficient.
