The internships are available in traditional Belgian restaurants, 5-Star Hotels, Oriental food, Vegetarian and Ethnic Restaurants. There you will learn in commercial quality kitchens under the supervision of industry professionals. Students receive the challenging hands-on experience they need to prepare for a career in culinary arts or hospitality. While improving your French, gain the proficiency you need to work at fine restaurants, top hotels, posh resorts, luxury cruise ships, pastry shops, and more.

If your level of French is under intermediate we will direct you to a first-class intensive French course where you will acquire a strong basis and become accustomed to Brussels. These classes commence the first Monday of every month in the Alliance Francaise which is centrally located and fully-equipped catering to the international and European community. We will negotiate your intern schedule in international or local company in order to give you time to participate in the classes as well as optional social activities with students from all over the world.

You will decide if you want to begin the internship upon completion of the language course or in the afternoons while you are still attending. The classes finish at noon daily.

Qualifications

- You must be 18 years of age
- Intermediate French
- An outgoing and energetic personality are an asset.
- Ability to commit for 2 to 3 months.
