    An elegant Georgian House, dating back to 1735, built of classic honey coloured Bath stone. The dignified exterior conceals more than half an acre of magnificent walled gardens with splendid views out over the City of Bath.

    Small and privately owned, our aim is to offer the best personal service with attention to every detail.

    Bath Paradise House has 11 delightfully appointed rooms, all are individually styled to provide a mix of traditional elegance and modern comfort. The sumptuously romantic décor of the 4 poster rooms, and the Superior Deluxe “Room with a View” provide the perfect choice for a Special Occasion. All rooms have flat screen televisions with dvd, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, Molton Brown products and hospitality tray. There is wireless connectivity throughout and free internet access in the drawing room. Newspapers are provided.

    Traditional English or Continental Breakfast is served in the dining room and includes full English, fresh seasonal fruits, smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, a vegetarian option, plus special diets can be catered for. Continental breakfast can be served in your room. Bath Paradise House is licensed.

  • Location

    Situated just over 100 miles from Central London a car journey will take approximately 2 hours dependent on the time of day. London's Heathrow International Airport is en route and about a 1½ hour journey according to the traffic. Alternatively there are excellent rail links with a direct service from London Paddington to Bath. There is an hourly service throughout the day with trains running every ½ hour at peak times. A coach service is available from London Victoria.

    Bristol International Airport is only 12 miles from Bath with many more flights now available especially from European countries.

    From the M4
    Exit at junction 18

    By Road
    Travel south on the A46 towards Bath. As you approach the city on a dual carriageway take the exit to Bath at the large roundabout with traffic lights. Then travel towards the city centre on A4 London Road. At the first main set of traffic lights, after the Morrisons store (set back on the left hand side of the London Road) turn left onto the A36 Bristol Road, A36/A367 Wells and Exeter Ring Road. Proceed over bridge, past the Fire Station (on your left) at next main traffic lights bear right signposted Bristol A36(A4) Wells A39.

    Take the second exit at the next roundabout and follow the ring road straight on at traffic lights under railway bridge. Travel on through Widcombe Village, (follow road and stay in left hand lane) until you reach the large roundabout which is bisected by main railway line viaduct.

    *** At this roundabout take the first left onto the A367 (Radstock and Shepton Mallet) and continue up the hill "Wells Road" for approx 3/4 of a mile approaching small shopping area ("Bear Flat"). Turn left immediately after chemist shop (just before "Andrews" Estate Agents) taking the left fork down the hill.
    Bath Paradise House is about 200 yards down hill on the left.

    From the A36 Warminster Road
    At the end of the dual carriageway you enter the village of Woolverton, after sharp right hand bend take next left signposted B3110 Norton St.Philip. follow for a few miles until you reach set of mini roundabouts with Tesco garage on left.
    Go straight over both roundabouts to T.junction and turn right onto dual carriageway A367"Wellsway" towards Bath.
    Proceed down hill to pedestrian lights (Bear pub on left), just after traffic lights turn right across traffic into Holloway (chemist on left, "Andrews" estate agents on right) then take left fork down hill.
    Bath Paradise House is about 200 yards down hill on left.

    Directions from South(A4 BRISTOL) Or A39 Wells
    A39 from Wells meets A4 from Bristol at large roundabout. Take A4 to Bath and proceed along dual carriageway.
    At lights take right along A36 (Lower Bristol Road) and follow for a few miles around ring road until you reach roundabout bisected by railway viaduct.
    Take A367 Shepton Mallet/Radstock exit then follow directions above marked *** (found under directions from M4 Motorway)

    From the Train Station by Foot
    Exit station walking left along Dorchester Street to Churchill Bridge, go over bridge, under viaduct, through subway and turn right. Go up pedestrian hill and at end of handrail proceed straight up hill. Paradise House is approx 200yards up on the right hand side. Please note that if you are travelling with heavy luggage you may wish to take a taxi as the final approach to Paradise House as it is up hill (approx cost of taxi £5).
