    Welcome to Balmer’s Herberge, the 4 season holiday resort. As the 1st and oldest private hostel in Switzerland, situated right in the middle of the Swiss Alps, we have been providing clean, comfortable, good value accommodation for over 60 years and have perfected the art of making your stay an adventure you won’t forget.

    We are open 365 days a year and 24 hours a day. Arrive anytime to Interlaken and be welcomed day or night at Balmer’s.

    Come in summer and enjoy our outdoor Biergarten and Grill, or relax inside in winter and enjoy the log fire and cosy atmosphere.

    By foot

    From Ost; Straight out of the station keeping the Coop Supermarket on you left hand side, straight through 2 traffic circles and keep following the brown signs to Balmer's.

    From West; Left out of the station and follow the main street, turn right at the traffic circle by the post office and follow the brown signs to Balmer's

    By bus

    Take the no.105 bus direction Hotel Sonne.
    Don't forget to get off at Hotel Sonne.
    Buses Run every 1/2 hour from 6.40 till 22.48, Every 50 minutes from 18.00.
    We are located less than 5o meters from the bus stop.
