Founded in 1845, Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio, is a fully-accredited institution affiliated with the United Methodist Church, offering liberal arts-based undergraduate, graduate, and pre-professional programs. B-W students enjoy the best of both worlds. Berea, with its tree-lined streets and picturesque homes, is an ideal college town, yet B-W students are only 20 minutes from the heart of Cleveland, home to many Fortune 500 companies and one-of-a-kind recreational and cultural opportunities. B-W's diverse student body includes approximately 2,750 full-time undergraduate day students, 1,300 evening and weekend adult learners, and 600 graduate students from across the United States and more than 25 foreign countries. With its more than 300 full-time and part-time dedicated professors, B-W maintains the personal touch with a 14:1 student/faculty ratio. Eighty percent of our faculty have earned doctorates or terminal degrees. B-W's affordable tuition ranks among the lowest of any private college in the Northeast. More than 60 percent of our students receive financial assistance totalling 35 million each year, including nearly 18 million in grants and scholarships. Baldwin-Wallace welcomes qualified students of any race, color or ethnic origin.
