The Australian Internships Professional Hospitality Program provides unique international training experience, designed for candidates pursuing a career in hospitality. All Hospitality Internships are award-wage-based professional training positions. Previous experience and or academic study within hospitality is a must for this program along with a high level of English.
The fields offered are food and beverage, front office, reception, house keeping and cookery. Interns with long term placements may be offered the possibility to gain extra unpaid training in alternative areas of the Island Resorts in order to meet academic and career objectives and ensure learning development. These areas may include: Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Events, HR, Front Office, Supervisory and Management.
Internships vary in length; candidates can choose from 6, 9 or 12-month internships. All candidates must participate in a telephone interview prior to being accepted into the program.
Note: Internships are all paid and interns will receive a minimum of AUD 12 - AUD15 per hour.

All candidates must be between the ages of 18 - 30 and have a degree/ certificate/ diploma in the chosen field. Note for most industries it is preferred that candidates have some form of experience however it is not pertinent. Candidates can not have more than two years work expereince.
