Description

Our course provides a three-year sequence in psychology recognised with the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council. You will acquire knowledge and skills in key content areas of the discipline of psychology and will learn about how psychologists explain things like:

* Why two people describing the same TV show sometimes seem like they've been watching different channels?

* If I know that exercise is good for me, why do I find myself sitting in front of Facebook instead of going to the gym?

You will consider the principles of learning theory that apply to understanding and changing human behaviour.

You will learn about how we perceive and understand our world, how we acquire knowledge needed for decision making, reasoning and problem solving, and how language and memory work.
