    Study abroad for a semester or year at Lincoln University with GlobaLinks Learning Abroad, formerly known as AustraLearn.

    With its beginnings as an agricultural college in 1878, Lincoln became a university in its own right in 1990 and is now known as New Zealand's specialist land-based university. Lincoln University is situated on a 58-hectare campus less than 30 minutes drive from the center of Christchurch. The campus has a mix of modern and traditional buildings, surrounded by trees and open spaces and a staff to student ratio of 1:14.

    Lincoln University is world renowned in land-based areas such as agriculture and agricultural science, tourism management, viticulture and oenology, environmental management, and landscape architecture. Lincoln University has continued to develop a range of quality and internationally recognized study options at foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

    Lincoln enjoys a very multicultural campus with over 1,800 International students from 65 different countries. An International Center was established in 1993 to provide special support for international students. The University is proud of its history in meeting the needs of its international students.

We design our programs so that our local and overseas staff are available 24 hours a day to support you in health and safety matters and are also key in enhancing your study abroad experience. Through our planned activities and resident director's personal recommendations for activities you can undertake while abroad, you will be directed on a path of personal, academic, cultural, social, and professional discovery.     Program fee includes tuition for 3-4 subjects, guaranteed pre-arranged housing to fit your lifestyle, GlobaLinks Learning Abroad Bridging Cultures Program on-site in Rotorua and Auckland, New Zealand, optional spring break tours, access to our U.S. University of Record, affiliate student fee discounts, end of program workshop, university administrative fees, overseas health coverage, all pre-trip services including orientation materials, visa-processing service (excluding the visa fee), personal advising, subject selections, liaison with your home university, credit transfer assistance, financial aid services, and 24-hour assistance while abroad.
