  • Description

Study abroad for a semester or year at CQUniversity with GlobaLinks Learning Abroad, formerly known as AustraLearn.

Established in 1967, CQUniversity has strong academic links with Central Queensland communities and industries, in areas like marine ecology, wildlife conservation (including koala and wallaby research), sports and exercise science, and more. A uniquely Australian experience is guaranteed at CQUniversity. The university's small size, friendly and laid back community, tropical climate, and close proximity to the Great Barrier Reef all contribute to a fun and active experience in ideal Australian landscapes. Students at CQUniversity experience the real Australia. Located in the heart of Queensland, you don't have to travel hours to the Outback or to the Great Barrier Reef to explore and soak in Australia's unique environment - it's all right there.

On the weekends students find themselves learning to Scuba Dive, visiting the Dreamtime Aboriginal Cultural Center, adventure caving, overnight horseback riding, spending the night under the stars, or just lazing by the beach. CQUniversity International staff are happy to assist with planning any activities students wish to experience during their stay.

Your study abroad experience is all about you! GlobaLinks Learning Abroad is here to assist you in your path of discovery throughout the study abroad experience. We design our programs so that our local and overseas staff are available 24 hours a day to support you in health and safety matters and are also key in enhancing your study abroad experience. Through our planned activities and resident director's personal recommendations for activities you can undertake while abroad, you will be directed on a path of personal, academic, cultural, social, and professional discovery. This team, which supports you throughout your experience, will ensure that you have the most fulfilling experience possible - one that is unique to you! So...What Will You Discover?
