Au Pair Paris is the first program for smart, young Americans to become au pairs in Paris. Being an au pair entails living with a French family, taking a class, and experiencing "la vie Francaise." Our host families are looking for you to share your skills and your interests and help their children learn English. In exchange, they will help you discover Paris and France, enroll in classes and benefit from a rich international experience. We personally guide you through the entire process and have a Parisian office to help you once you arrive. There is already a group of au pairs in Paris ready to welcome you as well. Current au pairs include graduates from Stanford, Brown, NYU, Penn State and other schools. Some au pairs are putting off college and taking a gap year abroad. They all share a strong interest in France and French culture.
Discover Paris and la vie Francaise while living with a French family. Au Pair Paris will guide through this process by providing you with a 'buddy' and introducing you to a supportive group of other au pairs. We continue our support throughout your stay in France.
Qualifications include childcare experience (babysitting, camp counselor, etc) with references, basic knowledge of French, good health, good sense of responsibility and flexibility.
