Remarkable experience in Beijing
Submitted by Igor Marek - Beijing | January 10, 2015
I was given a chance to immerse myself into the Chinese culture and definitely liked it! I wouldn't say that China is a perfect country to raise kids or retire there, but I didn't regret for a minute that I had a chance to live in Beijing for 1 year. As any metropolitan city, Beijing has many things to do and places to visit. The nightlife is excellent and drinks are pretty cheap. The only downside is the air pollution, but is it manageable as I used to wear a mask every time the pollution was high. I took the advantage of living in China to visit Thailand and the Philippines and I would just say it was an amazing trip! Definitely looking forward to stay in Asia for another year, maybe in Japan this time!

My amazing 4 months in Beijing
Submitted by Yann Smith - Paris | January 01, 2015
Before arrival in China, I was very nervous whether I will adapt to the new environment and also it was my first trip outside of my home country for that long. However, it turned out to be one of my most valuable experiences in terms of personal development. My stay in Beijing helped me to gain more self confidence and become an independent person. The placement in Crowne Plaza itself was excellent. The colleagues were amazing and helped me a lot whenever I needed something. I would definitely recommend AsiaOppo to my friends and to anyone willing to experience something new and exciting!
My wonderful 3 months in China

Initially, I have planned to do my internship in Shanghai, but AsiaOppo offered me a Marketing Placement in Beijing. At first, I was unsure whether to take it, but it turned out that Beijing is a much better city than I expected. Overall, I had really good experience with the organisation.
Enriching and useful

I've been given a placement at Hainan Island in China, even though there were much more offers in China mainland - such as Beijing and Shanghai, and I have to say that I don't regret it at all, as it was very enriching experience and I find it very useful, as I learned a lot about hospitality with this internship, as I graduated only recently this was my first one. I've been given a job in a hotel, and I was first trained and then executed myself the day-to-day running of the hotel duties given to me. Contemplating the fact that I plan to make career in this industry (im hoping:), I believe this could prove useful, as I totally immersed myself in how big hotel is being run. Anyone who can do it, just do it
