We believe in Customer Service, why go to a characterless hotel when you can have a genuine warm and friendly welcome and we hope you will become friends as well as guests. Whether it is a delicious breakfast you require or a round of golf booked locally, nothing is too much trouble.
We can advise on the local golf courses so you are not disappointed and we can recommend activites and restaurants if required. The guest accommodation is separate from that of the owners' allowing privacy when required. There are two large modern family sized rooms, each is tastefully decorated and both are en suite. The rooms can easily accommodate families of up to four plus baby (cot provided). The TV/Breakfast Room is cosy, comfortable and private.
We are 15 minutes from Prestwick Airport home of the Prestwick Golf Club, founded in 1851 and which hosted the first ever British Open Championship in 1860. Mauchline is remarkably unchanged since Burn's time and many of the buildings he frequented are still here.
You can fly into the heart of South Ayrshire through Prestwick International Airport with regular flights from London and Europe. From Glasgow International Airport, Ayrshire is only 40 minutes drive.
From the south, the main West Coast Line serves Carlisle, Lockerbie and Glasgow with connections to most principal South Ayrshire towns.
From Glasgow and the north, ScotRail operates a frequent service from Glasgow Central Station to Prestwick Ayr and Stranraer.
