Come spend your summer in Tanzania, and participate in law and politics courses that will forever change your Graduate studies experience. Graduate students studying international law, human rights, international diplomacy, and conflict resolution can find that the course offerings will fit their interests and academic needs. The goal of the course is to provide a rigorous academic program with a focus on Human Rights in Africa today. It will draw on regional assets and include guest speakers and visits to international legal bodies located in Arusha, namely the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights, and the East African Community, including its Court of Justice.
- A unique learning experience that allows graduate students to work directly with international organizations and professionals in East Africa.
- This three week (4-credit) graduate Institute examines International Law and its application in East Africa, and the African continent.
- Jointly created by the International Peace and Conflict Resolution Program at Arcadia University and the African Foundation for International Law.
