Established in 1850, St. Mary's is located approximately 30 minutes by train from central London, in an area of Southwest London close to green space. St. Mary's is also on the grounds of Strawberry Hill, a spectacular Gothic mansion complete with turrets, stained glass windows, lofty vaulted ceilings. Once the home of Sir Horace Walpole, the son of Britain's first prime minister, today the home is a museum and tourist attraction. The River Thames runs along the edge of the campus grounds providing a really lovely setting on sunny days.
