Description

Legend has it that Senius, son of Remus, who was in turn the brother of Romulus, founded Siena. With the first settlements in 900 to 400 BC and the cathedral being built in the 1100s you cannot fail to be impressed by the history of this fascinating city.

The Piazza il Campo, Siena's main square, is the perfect place to experience Italian life at its best. The Piazza is a particular favourite with our students at night, when the irresistible aroma of local trattoria food drifts across the square. What's more, if you take an Italian course in Siena in July or August, you'll see the Piazza explode with the colour and energy of the famous Palio horserace festival.

Our Italian language school in Siena is located just 5 minutes' walk from the famous Piazza del Campo. It has 10 well-equipped classrooms and a large sun terrace, where students can relax during breaktime and after their Italian language program finishes for the day.

Your Italian language program can consist of a 'Standard' Italian course (20 lessons/week), or an 'Intensive Plus' program (20 group lessons plus 5 or 10 private lessons/week). There is also a 'History of Art' course, as well as 'Italian Cooking' and 'Italian Wines' courses.

Our Italian language school in Siena also arranges Work Experience in local Italian companies, for students who want to stay in Italy after completing their Italian language program.
