Tarragona, Spain
Located on the coast just one hour south of Barcelona, Tarragona is a great place to enjoy the Spanish way of life. Besides the fantastic beach, the town also offers beautiful historic buildings as well as lots of cozy cafes and tapas restaurants. Almost all sights are within walking distance from the city center.
The Classes
Bring your Spanish to life in conversational language classes, held every weekday in the morning or afternoon. You will share a class with up to 11 other teens from around the world. Classes are held at a local language school. The program includes 3 hours of classes per day, with a focus on speaking and comprehension skills. Practical activities will give you many opportunities to gain confidence interacting in Spanish.
Cultural Activities and Excursions
Enjoy the relaxed lifestyle and deepen your understanding of Spanish culture through afternoon activities and excursions. For example, you may explore old Roman ruins, play sports on the beach, or stroll through downtown Barcelona. On Sundays, you will have free time to get to know your Spanish host family.
Accommodations
A homestay with a local family is the best way to gain authentic insights into the everyday life and culture of Spain. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.
Student Feedback:
I had an excellent experience on the program. My favorite part was making friends with people from all over the world. My language skills have improved very much, and I am proud to say that I am able to have a conversation in Spanish.

Andeo (pronounced Ahn-DAY-oh) is not a word we took from another language or an acronym. Our name is a way of making communication between the people from different places and cultures in our network a little easier. No matter what your native tongue is, you won't find it difficult to talk about Andeo. Our name is a small, but important piece in our mission to foster cross-cultural friendship and understanding through homestay exchange programs.
