Welcome to Estepona, Spain!
Estepona is a small city in Southern Spain. Explore the local cuisine, stroll through the narrow streets in the city center, immerse yourself into the relaxed way of life!
Program Structure
You can choose your own dates and stay for three or four weeks. Once you step off the plane in Malaga, you will be met by a local program representative and escorted to your host family. For the next three or four weeks, you will eat, sleep, and play like the Spanish do. Enjoy experiencing the Spanish culture from the inside! If you want to include activities and excursions together with other international students, please see the options below. Throughout your stay, you will have the support of the local coordinator.
Optional Classes and Activities
You can choose to add Spanish classes, golfing lessons, tennis, dance or sailing classes, or a tour package that includes excursions to Canada, Puerto Banus, and Casares (a typical Andalusian white village) and a dinner in a chiringuito.
Prerequisites
We recommend this homestay immersion program for students who have studied Spanish for at least three years, who really want to use and improve their language skills, and who feel ready to dive in to a different lifestyle and culture. You won't spend a lot of time with other American students, and you should not expect to do a lot of traveling. If you prefer a program that offers language classes and organized group activities, take a look at our homestay study programs in Spain, Costa Rica, and Ecuador!
Student Feedback
I have become much more independent, my Spanish definitely improved, and I made amazing friendships, especially with my host family. It was AMAZING - probably one of the best months of my life!

Andeo (pronounced Ahn-DAY-oh) is not a word we took from another language or an acronym. Our name is a way of making communication between the people from different places and cultures in our network a little easier. No matter what your native tongue is, you won't find it difficult to talk about Andeo. Our name is a small, but important piece in our mission to foster cross-cultural friendship and understanding through homestay exchange programs.
