I started getting AmeriSpan newsletters years ago. I have always thought it seemed very reliable and know a few people who had good AmeriSpan program experiences. My husband and I did this program together and we were both thoroughly pleased with the school and the school staff, the homestay, the cultural opportunities, and the lovely surroundings.
I had a wonderful time. The school's staff were very pleasant and the locals were friendly. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who is considering it... The staff at AmeriSpan were very helpful and responded to all of my questions in a timely manner.
This was my 3rd trip to Latin America through AmeriSpan over the past 10 years. I like the comfort of knowing AmeriSpan is familiar with the school & offers student assistance if it's ever needed while the student is abroad. School was amazing. Teachers were wonderful, Quito program is well organized. My homestay family was great--very accommodating & made me feel very comfortable in their home.
Best part was the homestay. I satyed with such a nice lady and her family. She was welcoming and inviting. What a great experience!
I loved this trip. The teaching ws good, the lodging was superbly adequate, and the city more than charming. The best part of my trip was living in Chiang Mai on my own and studying for 10 weeks at a very reasonable price, and in lovely accommodations. The worst part of my trip was when it ended.
The language institute and instruction in Chania, Crete were superb- way beyond what I expected. I intend to re-enroll in the future for further instruction.
Professional enthusiastic instruction. Merida is an awesome mountain city. Had previously participated in AmeriSpan Panama program.
This school was fantastic! Particularly at this time of year (winter/spring), there are very few students at the school, allowing for private, ono-on-one lessons almost the entire month I was at the school. My family was wonderful and the school's instructors were great!
The school in Cairo was extremely well run. I learned more in a month in Cairo than in two years of study at my home university. The teachers were great.
Learning to speak Spanish proficiently has been the most frustrating, challenging, and rewarding experience of my life. I could not have done it without immersion. Buenos Aires is an amazing city and Argentina is a fabulous country. Everyone should go there! The Spanish is unique and once you understand Argentine Spanish, you can understand almost every accent from every region.
I loved everything about Bamberg; the instructors, the facilities, the homestay experience... The best part of program was the friends I made throughout the trip. They will be friends I keep forever. AmeriSpan was always helpful with me through every step of the process.
I was very impressed with the overall program. Everything exceeded my expectations. The host family I stayed with and school I attended were both amazing, and I had the opportunity to meet so many new people.
The staff at the school were very helpful in every way. They made learning easy, took us to get food, helped us find daily activities and when the unfortunate happened and I got sick, they helped me find what I needed to get better. Great program and even better people!
I absolutely loved my program in Barcelona. I think about those I met there just about every day. I've been strongly considering another program there this summer after I've graduated from college. I wanted to study at a reputable school in Spain and AmeriSpan allowed that to happen. The program I chose fit me better than any other probably could have.
I cannot compliment this school more; absolutely effective and patient instructors and extremely disciplined to make sure that students don't use English as a crutch.
I loooooved my program in Nice, the school was amazing, the people were great and my family was awesome. The employees at the school are so nice and so helpful that you feel you are at home. I definitely have recommended this school to my friends and as soon as I can get time off I will definitely go back.
