Location
South Korea: Seoul

  • Description

    Learn Korean Language in Korea:
Home to over 10 million people, Seoul is South Korea's capital and a city full of contrasts where the old city blends its ancient character with the sophisticated, hustle and bustle of modern day Korea. Situated in one of the most mountainous regions in the world, South Korea offers breathtaking scenery including plunging coastlines, undulating hills, valleys and coastal plains. This ancient city has been the capital of Korea since the 14th century. Some of the old city gates can still be seen - most notably the South Gate (or Nam-Dae-Mun), which like Paris' Champs-Elysees, is situated right in the middle of a modern city, serving as a constant symbol of Korea's proud past intersecting with its bright future.

Seoul's subway system is clean, safe and goes everywhere and street signs are usually in both Korean and English which make it easier than one might imagine to navigate.

School Facilities: Located in the university district of Seoul, school facilities include several classrooms, a student lounge, and study rooms.

Participants: Students, independent travelers and professionals from many different countries. Wide range of nationalities with the majority from Europe.

Other: The group program is only sold in one month blocks: 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks, etc.

  • AmeriSpan Study Abroad's Mission Statement

Our mantra is "Every Language, Every Culture, Everywhere." AmeriSpan Study Abroad has over 15 years experience and over 30,000 past participants. Our staff has three passions: language, culture, and travel. Individually and as a group, we have accumulated experiences and knowledge related to these passions. AmeriSpan's staff has traveled to more than 65 countries, every continent except Antarctica, speak 10 languages, and we are happy to share this enormous amount of relevant knowledge with you. Every staff member has studied and/or lived abroad for extended periods of time. We are neither a language school nor a travel agent, we're a hybrid of the two: a language travel organization. AmeriSpan has evaluated hundreds of schools, host families and destinations to determine which programs to offer, and our independence allows us to give you unbiased evaluations of these programs. Our pledge to our participants is to make going abroad 'worry-free'. There is no risk in choosing an AmeriSpan program because you'll get the best program, best price and can cancel for any reason and get a full refund on every dollar we have received for your program.
