  • Description

Learning Italian abroad in Siena, Italy is one of many language immersion programs offered by AmeriSpan. Known for its diverse regions, rich culture, and fabulous food, boot-shaped Italy possesses perhaps the most instantly identifiable physical shape of any country in the world. You can visit Roman ruins, gawk at Renaissance art, stay in tiny hill towns, ski the Alps, explore the canals of Venice, and see more churches than you can imagine. Naturally, you can indulge in the elementary pleasures of good food, improving your wardrobe, and seeking out "la dolce vita." From its beaches to its Alpine mountains, Italy vibrates with a special soul that is reflected in its people, music, and art.

    Learn Italian Language in Italy:
Siena is located in the heart of Tuscany and is known as the best-preserved medieval town in Italy. Set on three hills, the city is drawn together by winding alleys and steep steps, whilst the Piazza del Campo stands at its heart, and the Duomo and St Maria della Scala serve as additional cultural landmarks. This magnificent Cathedral, begun in 1230, is an important point of reference for the entire Italian Gothic architecture, since it provided a basic model for a cathedral and was subsequently adopted in many other Italian cities. Surrounded by olive groves and the vineyards of Chianti, Siena is a precious medieval town with great architectural treasures.

    Italian School Facilities:
The school is located in a historical building at the medieval center of Siena. It is conveniently located close to historic monuments, museums, restaurants and shops. The school has large classrooms, a sun deck and administrative offices. Free Internet available.

  • AmeriSpan Study Abroad's Mission Statement

Our mantra is "Every Language, Every Culture, Everywhere." AmeriSpan Study Abroad has over 15 years experience and over 30,000 past participants. Our staff has three passions: language, culture, and travel. Individually and as a group, we have accumulated experiences and knowledge related to these passions. AmeriSpan's staff has traveled to more than 65 countries, every continent except Antarctica, speak 10 languages, and we are happy to share this enormous amount of relevant knowledge with you. Every staff member has studied and/or lived abroad for extended periods of time. We are neither a language school nor a travel agent, we're a hybrid of the two: a language travel organization. AmeriSpan has evaluated hundreds of schools, host families and destinations to determine which programs to offer, and our independence allows us to give you unbiased evaluations of these programs. Our pledge to our participants is to make going abroad 'worry-free'. There is no risk in choosing an AmeriSpan program because you'll get the best program, best price and can cancel for any reason and get a full refund on every dollar we have received for your program.
